Graviton (disambiguation)
A graviton is a hypothetical gauge boson of a quantum theory of gravitation. Assumingly it is the carrier of the gravitational force. The name appeared for the first time in 1934 in an essay by Dmitri Iwanowitsch Blochinzew and F. M. Galperin, but it was not accepted until Paul Dirac suggested the name in 1959, who probably had no knowledge of Blochinzew's essay.[1]
Graviton may also mean:
- Graviton (comics), a supervillain in Marvel Comics
- Graviton City, a fictional city in the Project A-ko anime which includes a school of the same name
- AWS Graviton, a processor composed of Arm Neoverse N1 cores developed by Amazon Web Services subsidiary Annapurna Labs for use in data centers
