Grootschermer
Grootschermer (52°35′N 4°51′E) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is since January 1, 2015 a part of the municipality of Alkmaar, and lies about 12 km southeast of the city centre of Alkmaar.

In 2001, the town of Grootschermer had 205 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.048 km², and contained 89 residences.[1] The statistical area "Grootschermer", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 540.[2]
