Haereta niphosceles

Haereta niphosceles is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1947. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.[1]

The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are rosy with the stigmata fuscous, the first discal at one-fourth, the plical beyond it, the second discal near the middle. There is an interrupted dark fuscous terminal line continued on the apical fourth of the costa. The hindwings are white.[2]
