Hamelin Station Reserve

Hamelin Station (also known as Hamelin Pool Station) was a pastoral lease in Western Australia. Since 2015 it has been known as Hamelin Station Reserve, and is owned by Bush Heritage Australia.[1][2]

It is located at the south eastern side of the Shark Bay World Heritage area. It is also the location of the Shark Bay stromatolites.[1] The property occupies an area of 202,000 hectares (499,153 acres), including 32 kilometres (20 mi) of coastline.[3]

Sheep station

It has been a sheep grazing station.[4][5] In 1884 the section of telegraph line to Roebourne that passed through the property had been completed.[6]
