Harry Yourell

Harry "Bus" Yourell (February 19, 1919 September 19, 2011) was an American politician.

Yourell was born in Hammond, Indiana. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Yourell went to La Salle Extension University. He lived in Oak Lawn, Illinois and was the owner of Bus' Drive In. In 1959, Yourell served on the board of trustees of Oak Lawn, Illinois. He served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1967 until 1984 and was a Democrat. Yourell served as the Cook County Recorder of Deeds from 1984 to 1988 and as a commissioner of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago from 1988 to 2006. Yourell died at the Alexis Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.[1][2]
