She is best known as the author of Xero for Dummies[5] series and Learn Small Business Start Up in 7 Days.[6] She was personally approached by Xero's co-founder Rod Drury to write Xero for Dummies.[7]
Smith is also a certified advisor for both Xero[8] and MYOB.[9]
Career
Smith is a Fellow of the ACCA. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University. She is one of the mentors at River City Labs, a non profit organisation aiming to promote high-tech start up businesses in Brisbane and surrounding regions.[10] She performs a similar role at the Sunshine Coast Innovation Centre.[11]
