Heaven's Design Team
Heaven's Design Team (Japanese: 天地創造デザイン部, Hepburn: Tenchi Sōzō Dezain-bu) is a Japanese comedy manga series, written by Hebi-Zou and Tsuta Suzuki and illustrated by Tarako, about a team of designers creating various animal species on ancient Earth to fulfill the requests of Kami-sama ("God", in English). It has been serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Monthly Morning Two since February 2017 and has been collected in six tankōbon volumes. The manga is licensed in North America by Kodansha USA.[3] An anime television series adaptation by Asahi Production premiered on January 7, 2021.

Heaven's Design Team is written by Hebi-Zou and Tsuta Suzuki and illustrated by Tarako. The series began in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Monthly Morning Two on February 22, 2017.[6] Kodansha has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on November 22, 2017[7] As of January 21, 2021, six volumes have been released.[8]
In North America, Kodansha USA announced the English digital release of the series in April 2018.[9] Kodansha announced the print release of the series in November 2019, with the first volume released on October 20, 2020.[10][11]

Anime
An anime television series adaptation was announced in April 2020.[1] The series is directed by Sōichi Masui at Asahi Production, with series composition handled by Michiko Yokote, character designs by Sachiko Oohashi, and music composed by Hayato Matsuo. It premiered on January 7, 2021 on AT-X and other channels.[21][22] Muse Communication has licensed the series in Southeast Asia and South Asia.[23] The opening theme song is "Give It Up?" performed by "96Neko" (96猫, "Kuro Neko"), and the ending theme song is "DESIGNED BY HEAVEN!" performed by "Paraiso☆Employee Stars" (パライソ☆社員スターズ, "Paraiso☆Shain Sutāzu").[24] Crunchyroll licensed the series.[25]
