Personal life

After his film career came to a trickle and he had financial difficulties, he had limited onscreen presence in Bollywood or media. He was ordered by the court in 2015 to vacate the home he had rented and was occupying illegally after the tenancy agreement had expired.[2] Mid Day reported in 2017 that his daughter, Soniya Birje, is taking first steps towards acting by being part of a play Hello Darling which also features Vindu Dara Singh, Sheeba, Payal Goga Kapoor (daughter of Goga Kapoor) and Shaad Randhawa.[3]
