Heo Hoon

Heo Hoon (born 16 August 1995) is a South Korean professional basketball player.[1] He plays for the South Korean side Busan KT Sonicboom.[2][3]

Club career

Hoon joined the Busan KT Sonicboom in 2017, he voted to be a Korean Basketball league All star in 2019.[4]

National team

Junior teams

Hoon represented Korea in the 2012 FIBA Under-17 World Championship, where he averaged 17.7 points, 2 rebounds and 2.9 assists.[5] Hoon also participated in the 2013 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, where he averaged 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists[6]

Senior team

Hoon participated in the qualifiers to the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China, he averaged 6.7 points, 0.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists[7] Hoon represents the South Korean national basketball team, He represented the team at 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup where he averaged 4.2 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.8 assist at the tournament.[1][8]

Personal life

Hoon's older brother Heo Ung is a professional basketball player for the Wonju DB Promy. His father Hur Jae is a former head coach of the South Korean National Basketball team.[9]
