Hornbaek Sportsforening was founded in 1945, just after the Second World War and was immediately accepted to JBU.[1]
The club first team is in the series 2, which is the 7th ranked league in Denmark.
In 2003 the club went into a merger, and is one of the 6 founding clubs to Randers FC.[2]
