The 12307/12308 Howrah Jodhpur Express presently has 1 AC 2 tier, 4 AC 3 tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 General Unreserved coaches & 1 Pantry Car.

2 AC 3 tier, 4 Sleeper Class & 2 General unreserved coaches form part of the slip Howrah – Bikaner Express are detached/attached from the Howrah Jodhpur Express at Merta Road Junction.

The 12307 Howrah Jodhpur Express covers the distance of 1813 kilometres in 30 hours 55 mins (58.64 km/hr) & in 31 hours 30 mins as 12308 Jodhpur Howrah Express (57.59 km/hr).

As the average speed of the train is more than 55 km/hr, its fare includes a Superfast surcharge.

The train runs from Jodhpur via Merta Road Junction, Degana Junction, Kuchaman City, Jaipur Junction, Bharatpur Junction, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Allahabad, Mirzapur, Mughalsarai Junction, Sasaram, Gaya Junction, Koderma, Dhanbad, Asansol, Bardhaman to Howrah.

A WAP 7 locomotive from the Howrah shed hauls the train from Howrah to Agra Fort after which a Bhagat Ki Kothi based WDP 4 / WDP 4B / WDP 4D locomotive hauls the train for the remainder of the journey until Jodhpur and vice versa.

This train has operational RMS section b/w Jodhpur Jaipur, Jaipur Agra Fort, Agra Fort Kanpur, Kanpur Mughal Sarai, Mughal Sarai Gaya & Gaya Howrah. Between Jodhpur Jaipur mostly intra circle Mail Bags are handled. However Jaipur RMS gives forwarding Mail Bags for NSH Agra, NSH Kanpur, NSH Lucknow, NSH Allahabad, NSH Varanasi, NSH Patna, NSH Gorakhpur, NSH Muzaffarpur, NSH Barauni, NSH Gaya, NSH Jabalpur, NSH Dhanbad, NSH Burdwan

• 12308 Jodhpur Howrah Express leaves Jodhpur every day at 20:30 hrs IST and reaches Howrah at 04:00 hrs IST the 3rd day.
