Hugh Phillips (referee)
Hugh Phillips (4 April 1921 Wishaw, Scotland - 18 February 1996) was a Scottish international football referee.[1]
Career
He officiated 15 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1955–1966. He attributed a group stage match in 1966 World Cup, 5 matches in 1958, 1962, 1966 World Cup qualifying[2] and others were in friendly matches. He also attributed 8 matches in British Championship.
In club football he officiated some matches in Cup Winners Cup (2) and Champions League (3).[3] He also attruted a match in Fairs Cup in 1965. He also officiated 3 Scottish Cup final in 1960-61, 1963-64 and 1964-65.
