Hugo Lowell

Hugo Lowell (born March 30, 1999) is a British journalist covering US national politics. He has reported for Politico and The Telegraph and appeared on BBC News.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Lowell was born in New York City. He was educated at the Dalton School and St. Paul's School, London.

Career

Lowell started his career as a sports reporter in 2017 for the i newspaper, leading the paper’s coverage of the IAAF world athletics championships. He was a finalist at the British Sports Journalism Awards.[4][5][6]

Lowell started covering US national politics in 2019, reporting for Politico and The Telegraph about the Trump administration.[7][8][9] He has also appeared as a political analyst on BBC News, BBC World Service, LBC and Times Radio.[10][11][12][13]
