Hyperdrive (video game)

Hyperdrive is a futuristic racing video game made by Midway Games and released in arcades in 1998.[1] A Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, and PlayStation port was planned but was cancelled.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Hyperdrive consists of racing high-tech ships through race tracks stationed in outer space.

There are three tracks available to race on and four different ships available.

Development

The arcade version of the 1999 game Hydro Thunder utilizes the same basic cabinet as Midway's Hyperdrive.
