Icha Kavons
Icha Kavons Mundundu (born September 27, 1989), known by his stage name Icha Kavons, is a DR Congolese singer-songwriter, dancer, drummer and producer. He won the 2015 All Africa Music (AFRIMA) award for Best Gospel Artist and the 2016 AFRIMA award for Male Artiste in African Inspirational for his song "Testimony".

Early life
Kavons was born in Kinshasa, DR Congo, on September 27, 1989. He came to Canada in the early 2000s and subsequently lived in Toronto. Kavons joined a children's choir at age 8 and a church (New Covenant Choir NCC) choir at age 13. He had joined the choir to play the drum, but ended up singing.
Music career
In 2013, Icha released his first ever music project titled Second Chance produced by William Chebeya. In May 2014, he was nominated for Best Gospel Artist of The Year at the inaugural All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMMA), but did not win. In 2015, he was again nominated for the same award and won. In 2016, his song "Testimony" earned him an AFRIMA award for Best Male Artiste in African Inspirational.[1][2][3]
