Ina Steenbruggen

Marieke "Ina" Steenbruggen (born 21 June 1956 in Olst) is a Dutch former long track speed skater, who was active from 1973 until 1988.[1]

Steenbruggen represented her nation three times at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women. In 1978 (finishing 18th overall), 1981 (finishing 15th overall), and 1983 (finishing 12th overall).[2] She also competed at the World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1978 (finishing 17th overall), 1979 (finishing 18th overall) and 1981 (finishing 15th overall). At the European Speed Skating Championships for Women she participated in 1981 (10th overall), 1983 (disqualified) and 1984 (13th overall).

Between 1976 and 1987 she competed at 18 events at 15 national championships, winning at the Dutch Allround Championships three silver medals (1978, 1981, 1983) and a bronze medal (1976).[2]

Personal life

Steenbruggen married speed skater Gerard van Oosten. Speed skater Martijn van Oosten is their son.[1]
