The journal was established in 2005 and is the first and only Indian law journal which deals with the interface between law and technology. The journal is ranked an impressive 6th in the list of the top law journals in India.[1] The journal publishes articles, notes, and book reviews discussing legal issues on technology law in general, including e-commerce, cybercrime, biotechnology, bioethics, competition law, outsourcing, relevant public policy, intellectual property issues posed by technology, telecommunications, and evidential technology. Besides, the journal also has its own blog.[2] In the past IJLT has also collaborated with CPRSouth to organize a short course on broadband policy in India as a precursor to the CPRSouth Conference. Besides the above, the journal also provides research and editorial assistance to academics for projects they are currently engaged in.[3]
