Infernito Caldera

The Infiernito Caldera is a Volcanic Caldera that is located North of the Chinati Mountains In West Texas.[1] The caldera is approximately 7.5 miles (12 km) in Diameter And was formed around 37 MA, And is the oldest caldera of the Chinati Mountain Caldera Complex. The Eruption Released Volcanic Tuff and Ashfall as far as 20 km (12 mi) Around the Area with most of the Ejecta moving Northwestern from the eruption site. The Caldera has a Maximum thickness of 1800 m (5900 ft) within the Caldera[2]
