Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences

The (Henryka Niewodniczański) Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences - one of the research centers in the field of nuclear physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, located in Cracow, Bronowice Wielkie (District IV Prądnik Biały) at Walerego Eliasza-Radzikowskiego 152 Street. It was founded in 1955 [1] thanks to the efforts of prof. Henryk Niewodniczański. In 1988 the Institute was named after prof. Henryk Niewodniczański. The co-founder of the Institute was prof. Marian Mięsowicz. The Institute conducts research in four main directions:[2]
