Iqbal Kashmiri

Iqbal Kashmiri (1942 Lahore - November 15, 2020) was a Lollywood film director. Kashmiri died as a result of kidney disease.[1]

Early life

Kashmiri’s father, Karim Bakhsh, ran a hotel near Delhi Darwaza. His first foray in film was as an extra in the 1954 movie Deewar. Taxi Driver was his first film as a director, in 1970 followed by Babal (1971) and Banarsi (1973).[1]
