Ivomoku Bakusuba was a Burundian serial killer who confessed to having killed over 67 children.[1]

Crimes and arrest
Bakusuba killed his victims by strangling them with a bedsheet. He targeted mostly poor girls and boys, as he was a poor man himself. In the 1940s, Kayanza Province inhabitants were panicked by Bakusuba.[1]
He was arrested in 1944, and confessed to killing 67 children.[1]
Death
He committed suicide, "probably in the late 1940s or early 1950s".[1]
