Goud ruthlessly kills him to send a message to his detractors. Murari (Sai Kiran) son of the journalist wants to avenge his father's death. He makes a plan to kill Goud. Jagapati (Jagapati Babu), the Police Inspector of the area, is an orphan brought up by MLA Goud and serves as his loyal henchman. Jagapati protects the MLA from Murari's attempt and kills him on the public road.

Lavanya (Rakshita) a newly appointed railway clerk comes to town. Jagapati happens to meet Lavanya and they slowly fall in love. Later Jagapati is shocked to learn that Lavanya is none other than the widow of Murari and she planned the entire thing to avenge her husband's death.
