Jaleshwar Mahato

Jaleshwar Mahato is a politician from Jharkhand, India. He represented the Baghmara (Vidhan Sabha constituency) during the year 2000 to 2009.[1] He represented the constituency as a Janata Dal (United) MLA. He was Jharkhand State President of Janata Dal (United).He is known for his infrastructural developments in whole Jharkhand during his tenure as a Minister in Jharkhand and for his clean image . One can still find various infrastructure made during his tenure in Baghmara . He is considered as a very close leader to Bihar Chief Minister Mr Nitish Kumar. He started his political career as the student of The Great Jharkhand movement activist Late Binod Bihari Mahato. Currently he is active against the local coal mafia.

Jaleshwar Mahato joined the Congress on 29 December 2018 in presence of Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi.[2]
