James C. Dawkins Jr.

James C. "Jim" Dawkins Jr. is a senior United States Air Force officer. In August 2020, he was nominated to become lieutenant general to serve as Deputy Chief of Staff, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration of the Air Force, succeeding Richard M. Clark.[1] He previously served as the Director of Global Power Programs of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics.[2]
