History

In 1981, Michal Ambrož and Vladimír "Dáda" Albrecht formed the group Jasná Páka. Other prominent members of the Czech music scene who passed through the group's ranks included David Koller on drums, Jan Ivan Wünsch on bass, as well as Bohumil and Vladimír Zatloukal on guitars. The band also included several female backing vocalists, including Zdena Pištěková, Markéta Vojtěchová, and later Alena Daňková.

In 1984, Jasná Páka was banned from performing in public and they subsequently broke up. Some of the members later founded another group, Hudba Praha. Jasná Páka reunited with a different lineup in 2008, and six years later released their debut full-length studio album, Černá deska.[2][3]
