Jay Feldman

Jay Feldman was born on April 4, 1971, and grew up in Bloomfield Hills and Waterford, Michigan. At age 15, he began selling cars at his dad's dealership, Jay Chevrolet in Milford, Michigan. In 1992, Feldman went to the Northwood University and earned a bachelor's degree in automotive marketing and management.[5][6]

Feldman's group of Chevrolet dealerships sell one of every 70 Chevy vehicles in the country, about 1% of all U.S. Chevrolet sales and the most Chevrolets in Michigan.[7][8][9][10] Total revenue for the 14 Michigan and Ohio stores in 2020 was $1.2 billion. In 2016, Feldman met Actor Mark Wahlberg while he was filming Transformers: The Last Knight in Detroit and later joined Wahlberg as a partner in the Wahlburgers restaurants in Michigan, Ohio and Georgia and MWIG.[11][12][13][14] On July 20, 2018, Feldman and Wahlberg announced the purchase of Bobby Layman Chevrolet in Columbus, Ohio.[15][16][17][18][19] The dealership was renamed Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet and was featured in The Ellen Show three times, on Stephen Colbert, A&E Wahlburgers and Good Morning America.[20][21][22][23] Due to the success of the first dealership, the duo bought Haydocy Buick-GMC, renaming it Mark Wahlberg Buick-GMC and became official on June 29, 2020.[24][25][26][27] It also included Haydocy's Airstream & R/V dealership, now named Mark Wahlberg Airstream/RV Center.[28][29][30][31] In August 2020, the team added Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington as their fourth Ohio dealership.[32][33][34][35] On April, 2020 Feldman and Wahlberg donated computers to Beaumont patients.[36][37][38][39][40]
