Jenita Hulzebosch-Smit

Jenita Hulzebosch-Smit (born 14 November 1974 in Rouveen) is a Dutch former long track speed skater and marathon speed skater, who was active between 1994 and 2006.[1]

Hulzebosch-Smit represented her nation at the 2003 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in the 3000 metres event (finishing 9th) and 5000 metres event (finishing 4th) and at the 2005 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in the 5000 metres event (finishing 6th).[2] She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]

She became national champion at the 2003 and 2005 Dutch Single Distance Championships in the 5000 metres event. At the 2003 championships she won also silver in the 3000 metres and at the 2004 championships she won silver in the 5000 metres. In the marathon discipline she won four silver medals at the KNSB Dutch Marathon Championships. On natural ice in 1996 and on artificial ice in 1998, 2003 and 2005.[2]

She is the sister of speed skater Gretha Smit. She is married to marathon speed skater Erik Hulzebosch.
