Jessica Tan (businesswomen)

Jessica Tan (born 1977) is a Singaporean business executive, currently the co-chief executive officer, executive director and executive vice president of the Pingan Group.[1] She is also a Member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Securities and Futures Commission.[2] In 2019, she was named as one of the Fortune Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs.[3] In 2020, she was ranked 2nd in the Fortune (magazine)'s Most Powerful Women International category.[4]

Jessica Tan graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and two Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics.[5] Tan was the chief information officer of the Pingan Group from January 2013 to November 2019, a Senior Vice President of the Pingan Group from June 2015 to December 2015, and the Deputy CEO of the Pingan Group from October 2017 to November 2018.[6]

Prior to this, she was a partner with McKinsey & Company, specialized in financial service and business technology. During her 12 years of work there, she cooperated with the leading financial and technology institutions across 10 countries in the United States and Asia, focusing on strategy, organization, operation, and information technology.[7]

Tan was the 21st Forbes most power women in 2020,[8] 22nd, in 2019.[9]
