Jin-Quan Yu
Jin-Quan Yu (Chinese: 余金权; born c. 1966)[1] is a Chinese American synthetic chemist known for his work on the functionalization of carbon–hydrogen bonds.[1] He won a 2016 MacArthur Fellowship.[1] He is Frank and Bertha Hupp Professor of Chemistry at the Scripps Research Institute.
Life
He graduated from East China Normal University, Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry, and from the University of Cambridge.[1] He worked at Brandeis University, and Scripps Research Institute.[2]
