Joaquim Campos

Joaquim Fernandes de Campos (5 September 1924 Lisbon, Portugal - 18 March 2016) was a Portuguese international football referee.[1]

Career

He officiated 11 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1954–1973. He attributed 2 group stage matches in 1958 and 1966 World Cup, a match in 1970 World Cup qualifying, 2 matches in 1964 and 1972 European Championship qualifying[2] and others were in friendly matches. He also attributed a match in British Championship in 1959.

In club football he officiated some matches in Cup Winners Cup (3) and Champions League (6).[2] He also attruted 3 matches in Fairs Cup in 1961-1965.
