Jodi (2019 film)

Jodi (English: The Couple) is a 2019 Telugu romantic drama film written and directed by Vishwanath Aarigella.[1] The film is produced by Sai Venkatesh Gurram and Patchva Padmaja jointly under the banner Bhavana Creations. It features Aadi Saikumar and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles alongside Vennela Kishore, Gollapaudi Maruthi Rao, Naresh and Sithara in the supporting roles. The background score and soundtrack is done by Phani Kalyan. The cinematography for the film is done by S.V.Visweshwar. The editing for the film is done by Ravi Mandala. The film was released on 6 September 2019.[2] The film met with negative reviews from critics and average reviews from audiences.[3][4][5]

Plot

Kapil(Aadi), a system admin, detests his father for betting money on Cricket. He is such a Cricket buff that he named his son after Kapil Dev. When Kapil falls in love with a French teacher Kanchana Mala(Shradda Shrinath) his world changes. One day Avinash(Pradeep),a businessman is on a hurry to Airport to attend an urgent meeting held in UK.But on his way he accidentally hits up Kanchanamala's Grandfather(Gollapudi Maruthi Rao) and trouble starts there when Kapil(Aadi) stops him by Chasing.He takes Kanchana's Grandfather to Hospital along with Avinash .Afterhow Avinash pays the hospital bill for hitting and apologises.After what Kapil accidentally gets to know that it is Kanchanamala's Grandfather and His life changes happily when Kanchanamala too loves him.Kanchanamala stays with her paternal uncle(Shiju) and aunt(Sithara) and brings her up after her parents were died in her childhood.After going a happy life one fine day Kapil goes to convince Kanchana's uncle for convincing about their marriage. Kanchana's uncle wont accept Kapil because of his father. Kapil gets to know that his father is the reason for the breakage of his proposal of marriage. Days pass on and Kapil leaves his job and wanted to prove about him to Kanchana's uncle. Kapil and his friend(Sathya) leaves the job in their company and joins as an enterprenuer in Suvarnabhoomi Farms and Lands.Their unexpectedly meets their boss(Vennela Kishore) in past gets insulted by Kapil and His Friend. His boss wants to seek a lesson and to them.After that he will meet unexpectedly Avinash and tries to seek revenge on him. When he meets his Childhood Girlfriend Madhu alias.Priya(Varshini Sounderajan) it would be a twisting climax and what happens next??
