Joe Trillo

Joseph A. Trillo (born 1943) is an American politician. Formerly a Republican, Trillo is now an Independent. He was a State Representative from Rhode Island representing District 24 in the city of Warwick, Rhode Island from 2001 to 2017. He served as Deputy Minority Leader.

Trillo is also a former National Committeeman for the Rhode Island Republican Party.[1]

Trillo announced his candidacy for Governor of Rhode Island on December 5, 2017 as an Independent.[2]

His ancestors are from Isoletta in Ciociaria, Latium, south of Rome.
