Joel Ekelöf

Joel Ekelöf (born August 1, 1980) is a Swedish singer from Stockholm. During his musical career he has released two albums with the band Willowtree. He has also released five albums with the band Soen.

Soen

On 28 May 2010, it was announced that Joel Ekelöf, drummer Martin Lopez (Opeth, Amon Amarth), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Death, Testament, Sadus) and guitarist Kim Platbarzdis had initiated a project called Soen. Their debut album Cognitive was released on 15 February 2012.[1]
