John A. Johnson (Wisconsin)

John A. Johnson was an American politician from Madison, Wisconsin who served as a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for a single one-year term in 1857. He is not to be confused with the two other John Johnsons who would serve as assemblyman from Dane County: John E. Johnson from Utica who would serve in 1869, and John Johnson from York, who would serve in 1874, .[1]
