Joke van Rijssel

Joke van Rijssel (born 6 September 1955 in Bergum, Netherlands) is a Dutch former long track speed skater, who was active in the 1970s and 1980s.[2]

Van Rijssel represented her nation four times at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women. In 1977 (finishing 16th overall), 1978 (finishing 19th overall), 1979 (finishing 17th overall), and 1982 (finishing 9th overall).[3] She also competed at the 1977 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women (finishing 9th overall). At the European Speed Skating Championships for Women she participated in 1981 and 1982, finishing 8th in 1982.

Between 1976 and 1982 she competed seven times at the Dutch Allround Championships and became national allround champion in 1978.[3] She also became national champion kortebaanschaatsen in 1981.
