Jorge Alberto Leanza

Jorge Alberto Leanza Sansone (born 29 December 1942 in Mexico City, Mexico) was a Mexican international football referee.[1]

Career

He officiated 4 international matches in 1983-85. He refereed a match in World Cup 1986 qualifying (CONCACAF zone).[2] He also attributed three international friendly matches which two of them were Mexico's matches in Mexico. He refereed two 1985 Azteca 2000 Tournament matches that were friendly matches.

Personal life

Jorge Alberto Leanza and a few other referees (such as Edgardo Codesal) appeared in bribe scandals and Leanza was fired from the Mexican Football Federation.[3][4][5][6]
