José Mario Martínez

José Mario Martínez Gómez (born 25 September 1952 in Chinameca department of San Miguel) is a former Salvadoran professional footballer and manager.[8][9]

Coaching career

Dragón

In 1987, Martínez was appointed as new coach of C.D. Dragón, replacing former coach Juan Francisco Barraza.

Return to Dragón

In June 2012, Martínez signed again with Dragón, replacing Abel Blanco.

Municipal Limeño

In January 2014, he was appointed as new coach of C.D. Municipal Limeño, after had previous spells with the Santa Roma de Lima-based club.

Juventud Independiente

In March 2016, he signed as new coach of Juventud Independiente, at the time when C.D. Luis Ángel Firpo bought the category of the San Juan Opico's club.
