Josef Moravec

Josef Moravec is a Czech paleoartist and painter currently living in the United States. He specialises in paintings of dinosaurs and has studied fossils for over 35 years to gain the necessary knowledge about them.

Moravec was born in the former Czechoslovakia and later moved to the United States, where he still lives and works. He is one of successors to the famous Zdeněk Burian. Along with another Czech paleoartist, Jan Sovák, Moravec continues in the famous tradition of Czech paleoart.
