Joshua Kutuny
Joshua Kutuny is a Kenyan politician. He belonged to the Orange Democratic Movement before he defected to United Republican Party, and finally to the Jubilee. He was elected to represent the Cherangani Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election.[1] He failed to recapture his parliamentary seat in the 2013 Kenyan elections losing to 2012 Boston Marathon winner Wesley Korir. After losing he was appointed by the President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta as his political advisor, a post he has held until December 2017, when he tendered his resignation and declared his candidature for the Cherangani Parliamentary seat. He was won with a slim margin the Cherangani seat during the 2017 General election.
Kutuny was born in 1978 at Kipkeikei in Cherangany. He is married with two children. Kutuny graduated in 2006 from Moi University with a bachelor of arts degree.
