Julia Timonina

Julia Timonina (born January 6, 1984 in Korolyov (formerly Kaliningrad), Russia) is a Russian fashion model, actress, television personality, and pop singer of the popular Russian girl band Mobilnye Blondinki (Mobile Blondes). She holds a law degree from Russia (Juris Doctor)and US (Master of Law).

Early life and career start

After turning down recruitment as a professional volleyball player, Julia began her career modeling at age 14.[1] She modeled full-time internationally, while living and working in Paris and Japan for model agency ELITE MODEL LOOK.

Career

In 2008, the producer Igor Matvienko cast Julia as a singer of the famous Russian girl band Mobilnye Blondinki. She, along with Mariya Kiseleva, finalized the group's lineup. Julia starred in the reality TV series about the band, first appearing in episode 20 of season 1 when she introduced herself to the existing members of the band. Timonina has also starred in several Mobilnye Blondinki music videos.

On October 21, 2010 it was announced that Julia, along with the other members of Mobilnye Blondinki, were releasing five new fragrances (one for each member) developed by a French perfumist specifically for the quintet.

Julia appears as the celebrity spokesmodel for various television programs in Russia including appearances as the current celebrity model and co host for Pole Chudes, the popular Russian version of Wheel of Fortune. Pole Chudes is the number one television program in Russia, now approaching its eleven hundredth episode in the 21st season of the show.

Education and Personal Achievements

Julia Timonina has traveled around the globe as a fashion model and a celebrity and has written about these experiences in her blog. Timonina graduated from the Vyacheslav Zaitsev Modeling School in modeling theory.[1] She focused on her modeling career until 2004 when she began a law degree at the Moscow State Academy of Law. She is a fan of classic Russian literature and often shops at the Dom Knigi bookstore in central Moscow. She is fluent in both Russian and English.
