Until being acquired by Sky Earth Network in San Francisco on 21 May, 2018, KBQS was owned for at least four years by the now-defunct Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen and was better known as KBQS. It had a strong following among Bay Area listeners, especially the Russian community.[1]
