Kamran Najafzadeh
Kamran Najafzadeh (Persian: کامران نجفزاده) is Iranian correspondent and presenter of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.[1]

Early life
Kamran Najafzadeh was born on May 19, 1979 in Tehran’s Sattarkhan neighborhood.
Biography & Education
He is married and has one son. He has a bachelors degree in Genetic Engineering and a masters degree in Theater. He is member of Association of Iranian Journalists (anjoman e senfi ) & a member of United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA). [2] He is a Special Ambassador for Children and the Elderly at Irans Welfare Organization. He is also Ambassador for the institution of Rare Diseases in Iran. [3] His documentaries on Iran's social issues has been praised by notable political & social figures as a means to assist and help those with rare diseases.
He is the recipient of a Humanitarian Award by MS patients in Iran. [4] He played a reporter in the Movie Bodyguard directed by Ebrahim Hatami Kia [5]
Journalism
Prior to entering iranian TV , Kamran Najafzadeh was a journalist at a number of newspapers including Arman and Keyhan Sports. [6] publications. At the age of 19 he became the youngest editor in chief of Keyhan Sports. His writings and poems have been published in various magazines including Children’s Keyhan.

He is the author of several books including the series “Talkhe Narenj” and “Haft Dastan” as well as the book “The Scary Cave of Skeletons”. Upon returning from his assignment in France, Najafzadeh published the book Reporter General De Gaulle, it went to print 5 times and the proceeds were given to Mahak-Charity.

Kamran Najafzadeh started working at iranian TV in 2000 . From the year 2004 he anchored the 8.30PM national newscast alongside reporting. He was also teaching journalism.
Reports
Until now he has more than 3000 minutes of Television reports. Reports like Aghaye Doorbini, Ali Koochooloo, [7] Gozresh e Madan [8] , Nargesi ha, Mahtab Passengers, [9] a series of reports called Grey Cities, his interview with the singer of “Yar e Dabestani e man”, his reports from Iraq,... His other reports include the story of the least populated school in Iran, which went global. Abd Ol Mohammad Sherani, Poetry by Abdul Mohammad the teacher of that school in Kaloo said “Najafzadeh made Kaloo global”. [10]

Najafzadeh has reported from countries such as Italy, Switzerland, Egypt, Austria and from critical war zones, his all encompassing coverage of various headline news has garnered him praise by the media.[11]
Interests
Kamran Najafzadeh recalls the crash of C-130 Hercules [12] as the most bitter memory of his professional life. His unique presentation and reporting style has attracted many fans and has made him a favorite among viewers. [13] Kamran Najafzadeh is a fan of the Iranian soccer team Persepolis, his favorite player growing up was Ahmadreza Abedzadeh.
Reaction to media activities
Kamran Najafzadeh’s name has been in the list of possible names for notable/legendary figures (mandegar) [14] [15] the reason for this is his nuanced view and unique take on making documentaries, which has caused a lot of noise and was mentioned in the media (Asr e Iran). In the year 2016 Najafzadeh took to the field as the twelfth player of the Football (Soccer) Team Setaregan (Stars) and played against the team of Figo and Carlos. According to the official website of the sports program Navad, this presenter and reporter, after Adel Ferdowsipour and Ehsan Alikhani was chosen as the third pillar of the national media to be part of the football team. According to Majid Bahremand (Head of public relations of Iranian Artists Society, Bashgah Honarmandan) Najafzadeh was added to the team as a revered figure in the field of news and reporting. [16] Najafzadeh’s relationship with the world of soccer is not far, from his days of being a sports reporter in a newspaper and his interview with Abedzadeh, after he stepped down, to his interview with Lionel Messi, during the time he was in France. Celebrity: From being chosen as the favorite Television personality in a University and Public Relation institutions national poll, to being criticized by government officials, praised for his bravery in reporting from outside of Iran to becoming a candidate for Social Personality of the year by the Newspaper Haft e Sobh he has had to adjust to fame. He was registered as a candidate for Iran’s parliament on the one hand [18]& was the face of advertisement for a watch on billboards on the other. [19] Making him well known in two different realms, politics and celebrity. His presence in theater is not confined by his role as a reporter in the movie Bodyguard by director Ebrahim Hatamikia, he was also always a front runner in hosting the Fajr Film Festival Awards, which he has often turned down. [20] While some of these events didn't come to fruition, they nevertheless expanded his fan base & is proof of Najafzadeh’s influence as a Journalist in various fields. He has even played a reporter in the movie Bodyguard by director Ebrahim Hatamikia. [21] Najafzadeh has also been the subject of criticism in recent years, of those one can point to the criticism made against him by Raja News and state run newspapers like Keyhan. [22] The criticism by some conservative media outlets increased after Najafzadeh in his program “Serfan Jahat e Etela” criticized the President and ministers of the time and reported on the manner Satellite dishes were being confiscated in a manner not reported before on television.
