Kannukku Kannaga

Kannukku Kannaga (English: Eye for an eye) is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language family drama film directed by S. Dhayalan. The film features Murali, Devayani, Vindhya and Raja in lead roles. The film, produced by Henry, had musical score by Deva and was released on 26 October 2000.[1][2]

Plot

Dharma (Murali) and Devi (Devayani) are close siblings. Devi and Arun (Raja) fall in love, but Selvi (Vindhya) cannot reveal her love to her kindly brother. Dharma, knowing her love, accepts for the marriage, although the astrologer (Charuhasan) says that if his sister marries Arun and they had a son, Dharma will definitely die. A few months later, they have a male child called Vijay (Master Vasanth), and Dharma's death countdown begins. If Dharma has to survive Vijay has to die. Devi and Vijay consumes poison.Vijay records in tape about this and keeps near Dharma who is sleeping. Dharma listens to the tape and search for them. He(Dharma) accidentally get fired by arrow. He finds Vijay and Devi hospitalize them. Both vijay and devi saved but Dharma was in critical condition. At 4 o clock his heart stops but doctors saved him by giving cpr.
