Kari Hietalahti

Kari-Jukka Hietalahti (born 13 September 1964) is a Finnish actor and screenwriter.

Career

Kari Hietalahti is best known for having appeared in several popular Finnish television series, such as Vintiöt, Ihmisten puolue and Roba, and in films such as Rööperi and Vares – yksityisetsivä.[1] In August 2011, Hietalahti's first book Kenraali Pancho & Pojat – Suuri kalottikirja was published.[2]

In 2018 Hietalahti played Jari Aarnio in the crime drama series Keisari Aarnio which is based on a true story.[3] Actor /Screenwriter/ Nature writer Kari Hietalahti is best known for popular Finnish television series such as Vintiöt, Ihmisten puolue, Ihmebantu, Pasila, Kimmo, King Liar and Roba, and films such as Hellsinki, Vares- Private eye, Boy Upside Down, The Human Part, Helsinki Mansplaining Massacre and The Longest Day. In August 2011 his first book "Kenraali Pancho & Pojat - Suuri kalottikirja" was published.

Personal life

Hietalahti is married to a costume designer Minna Härkönen. They have one son. Hietalahti likes Fly Fishing and he is an Ambassador of the Vision Fly Fishing mark. New book about Fly Fishing " Incredible Fly Fishing with Hissu & Tommi" with actor Tommi Korpela was published April 2020. Hietalahti also coaching HJK Helsinki official Futsal team. Kari Hietalahti is a conservationist. He protect specially Migratory Fishes and Saimaa Ringed Seals.
