Karl Hanssen
Karl Hanssen (5 July 1887 – 13 September 1916) was a German international footballer.[1]

He made his debut as the second Altona player after Jäger, whom he served numerous assists in the club, on October 16, 1910 in Kleve at 1: 2 against the Netherlands in the national team. On April 14, 1911, he was once again playing for the German team, the first time against the selection of England did not lose, but in Berlin a 2: 2 drew draw - and Hanssen prepared with a Maßvorlage one of the two German hits by the Kieler Ernst Möller in front. However, after his appointment for the away game against Belgium on April 23 of the same year, he found no further consideration to be in the national team anymore.
Hanssen died at the age of 29 during the First World War.
