Kate Airey
Kate Airey is a British diplomat serving as the British High Commissioner to Namibia since January 2018. She was appointed in November 2017,[1] succeeding Joanne Lomas. In September 2020, it was announced that she will succeed Peter West as the British High Commissioner to Uganda in December of that year.[2]

Prior to becoming the Ambassador to Namibia, she served as the Deputy Head of the UK's response to the West African Ebola virus epidemic, among various other roles.[1]
Prior to joining the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2005, she worked at Oxfam and Shell International in Africa and Europe.[1]
