Ketu North Municipal District

Ketu North Municipal District, also known as Ketu Dzigbe Municipal District, is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Ketu District in 1988. However on 29 February 2008, it was split out into two new districts: Ketu South District (which it was elevated to municipal district assembly status on 28 June 2012; capital: Denu) and Ketu North District (which it was also elevated to municipal district assembly status on May 2018; capital: Dzodze).[2] The municipality is located in the eastern part of Volta Region and has Dzodze as its capital town.
