Khenmo drolma

Khenmo Drolma is the Buddhist abbot of the Vajra Dakini nunnery, the first Westerner installed as abbot of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Buddhism.[1] She has spent a lot of time studying, in the US, India, and elsewhere, and with the Dalai Lama. She was a leader in creating the King Songtsen Gonpo and the Art Director for the Songster Library.

Career

She holds an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania.[2] She was a professor [3] at the Maine College of Art from 1981 to 1995.[2]

She has given various speeches at locations such as the Sadhana, The Meditation Center.[4]

Personal life

Drolma is the daughter of Catherine Lahey Kelley.[5] She is also a cancer survivor.[1]
