Konal
Konal is a Bangladeshi Playback singer, music producer, actor, and model who was crowned champion for the reality show Channel i Shera Kontho in 2009.[1] She has won the Bharat Bangladesh Film Award in 2019 and numerous other awards during her vivid musical career. she has recorded film songs for many national and international actors and has albums and singles in many languages. She is a leading playback artist of Dhallywood. She Grew up in Kuwait with her parents and one sibling but permanently resides in Bangladesh since 2010 due to her musical commitment. She has performed all over the world and has fans of various origin. Besides being a favorite vocal, Konal is also known for being a youth influencer with her spontaneous speaking abilities and has appeared in various schools, universities and workshops to speak for young audience. She has been named the Daily Star Showbiz style icon in 2016.
Education
Her love for music started to show at an early age of 2, when she barely began to speak. She was a quick picker and picked up musical notes from her mother's rewaz, who was a then practicing Nazrul singer. She started training in Indian classical music from an early age of 9, and after years of rigorous learning and hardwork, she earned a first class diploma in vocal classical from All India Music Academy under the strict guidance of her guru Keka Mukherjee. Due to her father's profession, she grew up in the Middle East, Kuwait. She completed her secondary and higher secondary education from United Indian School, Kuwait. Then she enrolled into American University of London, Kuwait, for her degree in BBA. After she migrated to Bangladesh, she enrolled into University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and earned a BSS degree in media studies and journalism, specializing in public relations. She is currently enrolled in BRAC University for her master's degree in early childhood development.
Career
she started her professional musical journey since 2009, after being crowned champion of the reality show Sherakontho. Her first playback debut was in the movie "Mayer jonno Pagol" in December 2009, under the direction of eminent music Director Emon Saha. Since then she never had to look back, and have lend her voice in numerous Dhallywood movies. She has won the prestigious "Bangladesh Bharat Film Award 2019" in the Best Playback Artist Female (Bangladesh) category for her song "Joware Bheshe" from the film Meghkonna. Her song 'Jotodin Dhore Bachi' from the film Ochena Hridoy has also bagged her the "Symphony Channel i Music award 2016" in the Best playback singer category. Two of her recent playbacks have surpassed 10 million YouTube view club. And her most talked about playback song "sunny sunny" for the film Bikkhobh is yet to release. The song is enacted by the popular Bollywood actress Sunny Leone and the producers have claimed it to be one of the most expensive filmed songs of Dhallywood. Her first recorded album was called Konal's Jaadu. It contained 7 original Bengali tracks by noted composers and 1 English cover tribute to George Harrison for his contribution to Bangladesh during the 1971 Liberation war. Since then she has released many songs from various labels including her own. she has been nominated by Meril Prothom Alo Awards for her song "Ghum Jorano" in 2018. She has appeared as a main judge for the reality show Ganer Raja in 2019.
She has made a program called "Anya Humayun" as a tribute to late writer and musician Humayun Ahmed. In Friendship Day 2017, she sang a special single with Chirkutt Band.[2] On 22 October 2017, she recorded a song "Ma Tomar Anchol Kothay", with vocals and music composed by Tanvir Tareq for the 2018 film Maya: The Lost Mother.[3]
Personal life
Konal married Manzur Kader Zia, a journalist of Prothom Alo on 21 September 2017.[4]

Besides Konal, singers Protik Hasan and Akash Mahmud have lent their voices to the song, which was recorded on recently at Shouquat Ali Imon’s studio in New Eskaton, Dhaka. [5]
