Krachi District
Krachi District is a former district that was located in Volta Region of Ghana. On 4 August 2004, Krachi East District was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor; thus the remaining portion has been since then officially called Krachi West District. The district assembly was located in the northern part of Volta Region and had Kete Krachi as its capital town.
